Educational Qualification & Experience

Agniveer General Duty: Class 10th/Matric pass with at least 45% aggregate and 33% in each subject. Candidates with a valid LMV or HMV driving licence get preference for Driver posts. Indian Gorkha candidates need only a simple Class 10th pass.
Agniveer Technical: Passed 10+2 in Science (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English) with 50% aggregate and 40% in each subject. Alternatively, 10+2 Science plus a one-year ITI (NSQF Level 4 or above), or Class 10 with 50% aggregate and a two-year ITI or Diploma in specified technical trades are also accepted.
Agniveer Clerk/Store Keeper Technical: 10+2 in any stream (Arts, Commerce, or Science) with 60% aggregate and at least 50% in each subject. A minimum of 50% in English and Mathematics/Accounts/Book Keeping in Class XII is mandatory.
Agniveer Tradesmen (10th Pass): Class 10 with 33% in each of the five core subjects.
Agniveer Tradesmen (8th Pass): Class 8 with 33% in each of the five core subjects.
