Educational Qualification & Experience
For Agniveer MR: Candidates must have passed the Matriculation (Class 10) examination with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from a school education board recognised by the Ministry of Education, Government of India. Students currently appearing in Class 10 Board Exams for the 2025–26 academic year are also eligible, provided they meet all other criteria.
For Agniveer SSR: Candidates must meet any one of the following:
- Passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics from a recognised board, with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
- Completed a three-year diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Automobiles, Computer Science, Instrumentation Technology, or IT) from a recognised Polytechnic Institute with 50% marks.
- Passed a two-year Vocational Course with Physics and Mathematics as non-vocational subjects from a recognised board with 50% marks.
No prior work experience is required for either post.

The Indian Navy Agniveer Recruitment 2026 selection happens in two stages.
Stage I – INET (Indian Navy Entrance Test)
All candidates appear for an All-India Computer Based Examination. Shortlisting is done state-wise, and cut-off marks can vary by state.

Stage II – Written Exam, PFT & Medical
Shortlisted candidates are called for Stage II at designated Indian Navy centres. Aadhaar Card is mandatory at this stage.
